If you haven't blown it away already, you could go into the source directory
of the samba tarball, and type 'make revert', which will take all the
previous files (renamed to 'xxxx.old') and put them back to their original
selves.
Other than that, go get the CD (or whatever you installed off), find the
samba rpm, and type:
rpm -ivh --force samba-*
