Hello. I am suddenly having real problems with Red Hat 5.1. I
downloaded and installed the latest version of Samba, and now my system
is running extremely slow. It takes almost 45 minutes to boot up. It
gets to the part on the boot message where is starts to load the smbd
and waits there for an extremely long time. After it finally boots up,
all the applications take about there times as long to start up. I
would appericate any help on how to remove/ not boot samba or on fixing
my installation. Thanks,
