opinions which is a bit of a weird request on a "discussion" list.
Surely the whole point of discussion lists are for discussions that
stretch outside the boundaries of the main list?
Besides the thoughts about _most_ call center operations holds true in
my experience, as Mathew said perhaps you know an exception to the rule,
but that doesn't alter the rule in and of itself.
Anyway, think a little before consigning posts to junkmail - you'll just
miss stuff that could have been useful to you and get confused when you
read followups to posts but have missed the original. It isn't worth the
hassle. If the odd post irritates you just click delete, you gain
nothing and may lose out by arbitrarily sending stuff to /dev/null
