Ok, after some playing, I booted to emergency cd. fsck didn't work, but if
I mount the partition in question manually ( mount -t reiserfs /dev/hda3
/mnt ), it sees it and doesn't complain. Where is the setting for the
filesystem type for the drives? /dev/hda2 is the swap, and /dev/hda3 is the
/. I went into /etc/fstab and it shows :
/dev/root / ext2 defaults 0,0
proc /proc proc defaults 0,0
devpts /dev/pts devpts default 0,0
I would have thought it would say something about reiserfs in here, but it
doesn't.
